iPhone Camera Issue After iOS Update – Camera App Freezes or Turns Black

After updating to iOS 18.5 , my camera often shows a black screen or freezes when I open the Camera app or third-party apps like Instagram or LINE. This usually happens when the app enters split view or multitasking mode. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes it doesn’t — it’s random.

I suspect this may be related to how iOS now handles split view or camera view transitions. Restart can fix the problem for a short time but it will happen again in one day.

Can you help me check if this is a known issue or if there’s a workaround?
