Trying to add credit cards to the wallet app that have different billing addresses.

I’m having trouble adding my business credit card to the wallet app, which has a different billing address in a different state than my personal credit cards that I have currently in the wallet app. My bank cannot help me and don’t have any answers apart from the fact that it is a billing address issue within the app. I have added the business card and it’s related address successfully to the iCloud for account payments in my settings but that does not make any difference to the wallet. The wallet automatically defaults to my personal address as the billing address and does not give me the option to choose a different billing address. Only after a card is successfully added will it allow you to change the address or add a new billing address to the card.

Can anyone help me with this? I’ve been looking for an answer for this for the last couple of months. And my business bank, which is very helpful cannot help me with the app. They do say that that is the problem that when the card is attempting to be added, it is transmitting my personal billing address instead of the related business address. That is why it is being rejected and giving me the error code to try and add again later.

What model device are you using? What iOS version is the device using? What country are you in? What country is the bank in that issued the card? Is the device issued to you by a corporate entity, or in other words, is it managed by a corporate IT team?

Apple does not approve or decline adding a card to your Wallet app. Your iPhone sends encrypted information about your iPhone and the information you entered when attempting to add your card, to the Payment Network Operator (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) and if they approve, it’s sent to the issuing bank for final approval. Information you’ve entered on your iPhone, not entered or entered incorrectly could look like fraud to the PNO or your bank. If the algorithm detects suspected fraud, your request is rejected and an appropriate error notification is displayed in the Apple Wallet app.
