You tap on the App Store on your iPad and enter the name of the app that you to download and install. You will need to do this one app at a time.

I am assuming that you are using the same Apple ID on the iPad as you are on the iPhone, correct? If not, you will have to pay for apps, unless they are free.

If the iPhone and iPad are linked to the same Apple Account and have iCloud enabled you can restore it from a backup so your apps are backed up and transferred to iCloud so you can restore your iPhone from your iPad’s backup to get your iPad’s Apps another way of doing it is < Go to the App Store < Click your profile < Click Apps then click My Apps then all of your Apps that have been downloaded from your Apple Account will appear there

Some of the apps that run on your iPhone may NOT have iPad versions.

And some apps do not require an additional fee to use on another device. It will tell you what fees are required when you find it in the App Store on your iPad.
