How do I stop fake virus alert scam message appearing on my iPhone Safari browser?

I don’t want to be told the obvious (namely that this is a scam ——- I already know that). I want to know what steps to take in order to prevent this message from appearing on my Safari browser (on my iPhone 12 mini).

It doesn’t happen while I’m using the phone.

it only happens while the phone is charging at night, with my 3rd party alarm clock being prominently displayed (I have it like this so that I can be sure that it will wake me up at the necessary time.

But my concern is, is that while the alert is covering the alarm clock screen, I wonder if this will prevent the alarm from sounding.

BTW, I don’t actually know for sure if this has anything to do with Safari. The alert could conceivably be a stand alone message notification.

Ok, thank you. I’m looking into possibly finding a different alarm clock app.

I used to use the onboard version many years ago however, Apple has changed it over time and made it not so user friendly at this point. For example I believe in order to set an alarm you also have to agree to become actively involved in monitoring your bedtime and wake up times each and every day.

I couldn’t care less about tracking that nonsense. It makes as much sense as counting my steps.

You must be referring to the Sleep Schedule in the Health app. You certainly do not need to use that to set an alarm on your phone with the default Clock app. I use the alarm frequently and nothing is monitoring my sleep schedule, it does not even know when I go to bed. The only thing that happens is an alarm will go off for the time I set. I also use the alarm for other things as well that have nothing to do with waking up in the morning.
