I am using Apple Watch series 9 for the past two years. Suddenly the display goes off till I tap it. I always keep display and brightness always on. But till I tap it, I cannot get display. It was not like that before. Any suggestions please?

Did you make sure, that "Always On" is still enabled in the settings for Display & Brightness on your watch?
Did you try to force restart by pressing and holding the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?
If this does not work, unpairing the watch would be the next step:
