How can I get a refund for unwanted Picsart subscription on Apple Account?

Hi Apple Support,

I’m reaching out because I was just charged ₱1,360 for a Picsart Pro Annual subscription today (Order ID: MM*****T1 on July 15, 2025). I didn’t expect this charge at all, and I honestly didn’t mean to subscribe. I didn’t receive any clear warning or reminder before it renewed.

I’m really devastated right now — that money was supposed to go toward paying our household bills. This wasn’t just extra spending money. I’m trying to be responsible, and this caught me completely off guard.

Please, if there’s any way at all I can get a refund, I’d be so incredibly grateful. I already canceled the subscription to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

I know this might not always be possible, but I’m truly hoping you can understand and help me recover this amount. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.

this had been a problem with apple but currently they now, it seems do issue a refund. I am not sure exactly how it is done. Basically, you must cancel the subscription in subscriptions. The quicker you do it the better. Then you must watch your billing. As a safety measure, make sure you go to the credit card company and seek to open a dispute telling them it was a mistake and make sure you can verify, somehow, that your communication got through. This will cover you if the other party seeks to challenge you. This happens more often than you think, especially when there is a hic-up. Don’t be too hard on yourself it happens to a lot of people. Just put in your head, “today I will not debt.” Good luck

PicsArt offers a Free Trial and when you choose it, then you will see an Authorization Screen on your phone where it will show the trial period, subscription start date, subscription price, and a message that says to avoid the subscrIption charge you must cancel the free trial at least a day before the subscription start date. On the screen you must double click the side button, then it is authorized with FaceID/TouchID or your Passcode.

That is true for any Free Trial. It appears you did not cancel the trial a day before the subscription start date as seen on the Authorization Screen to avoid the subscription charge. That is not only the case for App Store purchases, but is the same for any Free Trial, such as HBO, Hulu, Walmart+, and all the other companies that offer Free Trials.
