Guided Access notification freezes iPad screen while playing Roblox
Okay so I was playing Roblox on my IPad. I moved my joystick and I don’t know what happened but I guess my iPad took that as an attempt to turn on guided access because some sort of notification with “Guided access unavailable. Please contact administrator” came on. I tried clicking out of the notification, it wouldn’t work. My screen was unresponsive and frozen. I tried closing the iPad, getting out of Roblox, nothing worked. Then I tried force resetting my iPad, because once when my iPhone 7’s screen was frozen, I tried that and it worked. I held the home and power button together until the apple logo appeared. My iPad turned on, I put it on the passcode, and not even 5 seconds later the guided access notification came AGAIN and froze my entire screen. I tried force resetting my iPad like 8 times after, each time nothing worked. I came on forums to try and find the solution to my problem. Some people suggested clicking the side button 3 times to turn off guided access. I tried that with my side button, volume buttons (individually then simultaneously), my home button, nothing worked. Then I went on TikTok and I saw some people suggested to let the device die and after it turns back on it’ll be alright. I let it die, turned it back on, same thing again. I tried that method twice, and the same thing happened. I even tried marking my iPad as lost from my phone although the “lost device” thing never appeared on my iPad screen. I’m even not sure if I ever turned on guided access in the first place. Now I really don’t know what to do. Should I connect my iPad to a computer and do the whole install IOS while not wiping off the data method(s), or should I go to the Apple Store? Did anybody have the same problem? Please help me!! I don’t wanna have to go to the Apple Store and spend money. Thank you!
