Why is there no spotlight or search option on iCloud.com??

I had to remove iCloud from my M3 MacBook Pro Max because it was continuously dumping files onto my local drive until only 100 MB of space remained. It made my computer completely unusable. After speaking with multiple Apple associates—who were helpful but ultimately couldn’t pinpoint the cause—the only viable solution presented was to disable iCloud entirely.

They advised me to access my files through iCloud.com. Fine. But here’s the problem: I rely heavily on Spotlight to navigate my files. I’ll admit, my file organization isn’t perfect—but that’s exactly why powerful search functionality is essential. Why does iCloud.com not have a basic search tool that mimics Spotlight’s capabilities? I have over 4.5 TB stored on iCloud. Without a proper way to search, it’s effectively inaccessible.

This is a massive flaw for anyone managing large volumes of content, and frankly, it’s unacceptable for a service at this scale. Especially when spending $30/mo...
